A dolphin photo bombs my shoot!
I love little surprises. Especially those that are unexpected and truly special.
Driving back from Point Lonsdale after taking pictures at a beach house there I thought I'd stop to take more snaps on the beach at Barwon Heads. The morning light was just amazing. There I was setting up the cushions on the beach, peering down the camera and then 'pop'. A little dolphin pokes it nose up out of the water behind, perfectly in the shot.
It's just a spec in the picture, as it is in the distance, and yet it is a reminder that nature is an amazing, magical thing. It ignites a feeling of true freedom.
Hope the little dolphin knows he made my day.
